Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 30 Day Calculator work?

Enter your start date (which defaults to today) and choose how many days to add or subtract. The calculator then shifts the date by that many calendar days and returns the exact result date, day of the week, and the span expressed in weeks and remaining days.

How do I calculate what date is 30 days from today?

Leave the Start Date as today, set the Number of Days to 30, and make sure 'Add Days' is selected. Hit calculate and the result date will show you exactly what date falls 30 days from now.

What is 30 days from now if today is June 30?

If today is June 30, adding 30 days brings you to July 30. The calculator accounts for the varying lengths of months automatically, so you always get the correct calendar date.

Does the calculator account for leap years?

Yes. The calculation uses JavaScript's built-in Date object, which correctly handles leap years, month-length differences, and year boundaries — so February dates and end-of-year spans are always accurate.

Can I calculate a date in the past by subtracting days?

Absolutely. Select 'Subtract Days' from the Add or Subtract dropdown, enter your start date and the number of days, and the calculator will return the date that many days in the past.

What is the difference between 30 calendar days and 30 business days?

Calendar days count every day including weekends and public holidays. Business days count only Monday–Friday, skipping weekends. This calculator uses calendar days. 30 business days is typically around 6 weeks on the calendar.

Can I use any start date, or only today?

You can use any date as your start date — past, present, or future. Simply click the date field, clear it, and type or pick any date you need. The calculator is not limited to today's date.
