Vacation Countdown Calculator

The calculator counts from today (or your chosen start date) up to but not including the vacation start date. This gives you the number of days you still have to wait before your trip begins. If you want to include the departure day itself, simply add 1 to the result.

You can start counting from any date you like — even a year or more in advance. Simply set today's date as the 'From' date and enter your vacation start date. The calculator will show the exact number of days, weeks, and months remaining no matter how far away the trip is.

Monday through Friday are counted as weekdays, while Saturday and Sunday are counted as weekend days. This split can be helpful if you want to know how many workdays you still have to get through before you're free to travel.

This percentage shows how far along you are between a reference point 90 days before your vacation and the vacation date itself. A higher percentage means you're closer to your trip. It's a motivational way to see your progress as the countdown gets shorter.

Yes. The calculator works for any future date, whether your trip is a week away or two years away. It will display total days, weeks, and months accurately regardless of how far out the vacation date falls.

Yes. Because the calculation is based on actual calendar dates, leap years are automatically accounted for. If your countdown spans February 29th of a leap year, that extra day is included in the total.

If the vacation date is earlier than today's date, the calculator will display zero days remaining and note that the date has already passed. Make sure your vacation start date is set to a future date for a meaningful countdown.
